SISI LAIN BUDAYA PESTA Menilik Fenomena Kemiskinan Umat Keuskupan Agung Ende Sebuah Pergumulan Teologis-Kontekstual
Kanisius Teobaldus Deki* Abstract: The local Church, the metropolitan Diocese of Ende, claims itself as the Church of the poor. It is based on the fact that most of its people are economically poor. Many people face difficulties in fulfilling their primary needs appropriately. Most of them are farmer, like others in Nusa Tenggara Timur (90%). Many families have a very limited land for farming; some even have no land; therefore, they have to go to work as blue-collar workers abroad, such as to Malaysia ad other countries. In this writing, I try to explore the cultural factor which mostly influences the life of people of God and the pastoral life in The Metropolitan Diocese of Ende. Among the many phenomena, this writing is focusing on the fact which is related to traditional feasts and their business.
